My (movement) journey began at a young age and has not stopped yet...

I grew up in Switzerland, climbing trees, playing different musical instruments, dancing folk dances and enjoying the intense the training in the local Judo club for many years.

In 2005, I graduated from the renowned Ecole supérieure des arts du cirque - ESAC in Brussels. Besides the circus arts, start practicing Contact Improvisation and contemporary dance.

To perform my solo-act Ballédanse and by collaborating with various artists and companies, I traveled to Festivals in over twenty countries in Europe, India and Australia and New Zealand). In 2009, I co-founded Aromatic Company with Caleb Trott (19 Reasons, BARomatic). We toured together till 2015. Besides performing, I organize workshops and teach juggling, acrobatics and movement research.

The desire to expand and unfold brought me to the F. M. Alexander Technique. At the completion of the three year full-time teacher training course I got certified as a teacher in 2013. A couple of dance-projects with cows and horses in Switzerland and Sweden followed. In 2014, I obtained the instructor certification of the contemporary art form Wutao©.

2015 and 2016 I was part of the show team of Zirkus Chnopf and in 2017, I co-directed the new Zirkusquartier Zurich and started running a regular dance-acro class.

2017 - 2019 I worked with Ana Jordão (“Décorps d’intérieur”, shortlisted for CircusNext Platforms 2018) and got more and more into martial arts and partner dance. Two projects a the Zurich and Lausanne Opera houses followed.

After a three month intensive introduction into different Chinese martial arts in Brazil, I studied the Hung Gar-System for a couple of years before I found my way to Systema. Since 2023, I study this old-Russian martial art with Gabriel Horsch.

The Première of my full-length solo circus piece dance me to the ball (Direction/Co-author: Delia Dahinden) in 2020 was a landmark. It since has played thirty times in Switzerland, Germany and France. In 2023, an adaptation of the piece for outdoor spaces came along and since tours as Voilà la Jeanine !.

From time to time I join Cirque ici (Johann le Guillerm) for performing La Transumante.

Blues/ Fusion dancing and the Formless Arts practices (Play-Fight, Liquid Body, Spherical dimensions by Bruno Caverna) also became regular activities. In 2024, I participated in the Fusion Dance Teacher Training with Flouer Evelyn and Mark Carpenter and started teaching a cross over of bio-mechanics, breath work, acrobatics, and partner dance.

I am part of the production team of the international circus festival cirqu’ Aarau.

Besides my performing and teaching activities, I love to share a cup of exquisite Chinese tea, drive a tractor, jump into (cold) lakes and rivers or work as a gardener.
